The vacancy is for a specialised engineer in on board systems, related with mobile robotics or intelligent transport systems. Experience in R&D projects, development in on board systems, perception and integration systems algorithms is required.
The vacancy belongs to the Automotive business Area which mission is to generate value through technology for a sustainable, safe and intelligent transport. From TECNALIA we work in solutions for a more sustainable mobility, doing research in new ideas for the vehicles of the future. Following this line of research, acquisition and perception algorithms systems become more important in comparison to the conventional solutions based on cameras, multilayers laser and even smart phones. It is necessary a new profile for the engineers of the future in automated wiring and environment recognition. We are looking for a professional with 4-5 years experience in the field of test and start up of new on board devices, signal processing, sensor integration and associated algorithms who is interested in applied research activities in the field of intelligent transport systems or ITS.
Knowledge of object oriented programming tools is required. Knowledge of C++, Java, Open CV and image processing and sector knowledge, as well as experience in new functions in Simulink/Matlab development, data fusion with different sensors, obstacles and environment detection will be valued.
